West to southwesterly flow persists as a high pressure system to the west of Victoria gradually moves eastwards towards the state. The high will pass over the state on Friday and Saturday. A low pressure system and cold front are likely to move across Victoria on Sunday.

Partly cloudy in the south, becoming mostly clear in the north. Isolated light showers in the south, most likely about the coastal fringe. West to southwesterly winds.
Friday 24 October
Isolated light showers about the south, clearing during the afternoon. Mostly sunny in the north. The chance of morning fog about western and central parts. Morning frost about the northeast. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far northwest. Maximum temperatures below average. West to southwesterly winds becoming light and variable in the evening.
Saturday 25 October
Cloud increasing from the west. Showers developing about western districts during the morning and extending eastwards during the day. Isolated late afternoon and evening thunderstorms about western districts, possibly reaching central districts at night. The chance of morning fog. A cool to mild day, but warm in the far northwest. Maximum temperatures slightly below average. Light winds tending moderate northeast to northerly during the day.
Sunday 26 October
Cloudy. Showers moving eastwards across the state, tending to patchy rain at times, clearing from the northwest later in the day. Isolated thunderstorms. Cool to mild in the south, mild to warm in the north. Maximum temperatures near average. Northerly winds ahead of a west to southwesterly change extending throughout.
Monday 27 October
Showers, mostly clearing from the west during the afternoon. Snow showers possible above 1400 metres. Cool to mild with maximum temperatures below average. Southwest to southerly winds, becoming southeasterly through the day.
